# Earnings Estimate

> Get earnings estimates for a symbol.

Get consensus EPS estimates for a symbol across the current and next fiscal quarter and year.

## Query Parameters

| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
| - | - | - | - |
| `symbol` | string | Yes | Stock symbol (e.g., `AAPL`, `MSFT`) |

## Response

Returns a dictionary keyed by field name, with each field itself a dictionary keyed by forecast period (`0q` current quarter, `+1q` next quarter, `0y` current fiscal year, `+1y` next fiscal year):

```json theme={null}
{
  "avg": { "0q": 1.65, "+1q": 1.82, "0y": 7.1, "+1y": 7.9 },
  "low": { "0q": 1.55, "+1q": 1.7, "0y": 6.85, "+1y": 7.5 },
  "high": { "0q": 1.75, "+1q": 1.95, "0y": 7.3, "+1y": 8.3 },
  "yearAgoEps": { "0q": 1.5, "+1q": 1.6, "0y": 6.6, "+1y": 7.1 },
  "numberOfAnalysts": { "0q": 22, "+1q": 20, "0y": 28, "+1y": 25 },
  "growth": { "0q": 0.1, "+1q": 0.1375, "0y": 0.0758, "+1y": 0.1127 }
}
```

Missing or non-finite provider values come back as `null` rather than `NaN`. Returns `null` when no estimate data is found for the symbol.

## Example

```bash theme={null}
curl "https://api.chicago.global/v1/earnings-estimate?symbol=AAPL" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
```
