# Target Price Summary

> Get an analyst target price range for a symbol.

Get the analyst target price range (low, high, mean, median, current) for a symbol. Returns a typed "unavailable" record rather than an error when a range cannot be resolved.

## Query Parameters

## Response

When a target range is available:

When a range cannot be resolved, `status` is `"unavailable"`, `low`/`high`/`mean`/`median`/`current` are `null`, and `unavailable_reason` carries a short machine-readable cause such as `provider_request_failed`, `provider_range_timeout`, `provider_range_unavailable`, or `contributor_extrema_missing`. A symbol-matching failure returns its own distinct reason code, separate from the four above.
